More on Solar Power…

and why I don’t work with it.

There are several reasons, the main one being that it just doesn’t make sense for my customers, except in a few cases such as electric fences, possibly a very isolated cattle tank, and a few others.

But if you need an appreciable amount of power, it’s ROI is so long you will be starting over before you pay it off. There are tax rebates available, Federal and state which may help, if your making that much money. I have read NPPD‘s manual for interconnection and it is expensive and complicated. Can it be done, sure. If you are a greenie instead of a practical Nebraskan like me. Heck, I’ll even help you. after all, my ROI on labor and materials sold is not too shabby but; I won’t recommend it. Steve Maley has a lot to say this morning also, I suggest you read it.
