The Week that Was

The perils of working from home!

Some say (Hi Gilia!) The best band in all the land! 🙂

I suspect I’m not the only one who resembles this cartoon.

Who? Us? Nah, must be the guy next door!

How you came to have a suit in your closet (or on your back)!

There’s an old saying that only two countries in the world don’t have a native costume. When we get dressed up we all dress like an Englishman, the rest of the time we dress like an American. It’s pretty much true.

Those rowdy Canucks! 🙂

Very well done for a student film.

Pretty brave, too in the current environment. Well done.

COOKIES!!! And their history!

And just a few from PowerLine’s always great Week in Pictures.

Funny how that works!

And finally, since the useless women took a strike day this week (did anyone notice?).

The one we’d miss! 🙂

Happy Saturday!

Erasers don’t work too well on pen ink. Need something else. That something has a great original name appropriate for the E.O.s by the mistake elected in ’08. Check out first sentence in following link.

Cool! 🙂 In engineering drawing we used to use a knife to erase ink, no idea what they use now – if they even draw on paper anymore. I do, I think better that way! 🙂

Did that this week. Built a tilting floor on top of regular floor of utility trailer. Drew what I wanted which showed me what supplies it needed. It tilts so I can slid off a cast iron tub, washing machine, and freezer that I got to dump. Already have a winch up front to load heavy stuff up ramps.
        Wish I could’ve just erased them. 🙂

Imagine the perils of working from home, The White House.
August 6, 1945 Truman saying “Heavens to Betsy, Margaret! Not now. Daddy’s busy, in the middle of making an important delivery to Japan. You go about your business. You can write about it one day in a book. Call it The Life of a White House Girl or something.”
(More fake history for a Saturday evening. 🙂 )
