Sunday Funnies: Arkanicide Edition

Things like Epstein’s suicide should not happen on Friday, it doesn’t leave much time to produce the requisite memes.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and a couple of years is not conducive to belief in the fairness of the investigation

So we’ll see, but the government has an awful lot riding on this, like whatever small shred of credibility it has left.

And, of course

Laughing aside, recent news does not give us much to hope for about the progress of humanity; kind of confirms me in my premillennial viewpoint.

About the diesel powered recharge station, wait until you got to purchase a new clothes washing machine and dryer like we had to recently. Have to select max fill for small load (perhaps as a lady on a discussion board said… add water from the kitchen sink for a full load) and run the dryer twice as long. Saving what again? 🙂
Old ones lasted about 20 years. Bet we have to replace these energy and resource savers sooner. Oh well, I’ll be a goner sooner and/or probably more sooner than later, but the wife may last longer. As statistically she should, just recently making the cut. Par 70. 🙂

You will, probably 3 to 5 years. That is what the efficiency standards have done. The manufacturers have had to take all the excess out to meet the standards. Or maybe they were complicit to sell more units. You pay your money and takes your choice. If you want a solid unit, you buy used. Heckova a way to run a railroad (or anything else!) 🙂

Ok then, I’ll pay. Don’t want to go back to the good ole days like, i.e. my mama’s old marbled looking greenish/grey washing machine…with a hand crank wringer on top.
Wasn’t so long ago either. Thanks Area 51. 🙂

Used because maybe so cheap? Have Kenmore range(Whirlypool) remodeled kitchen ’07. Stove top burners go from low to hot on their own no matter the setting. Sears replaced stove top burner switches three times under warranty, one extended warranty, and me doing it a couple of times since then per individual burner. Just paid local mom and pop to do it again.
Tell me again the definition of insanity. 🙂

Yeah, I hear that! 🙂 Had a washing machine that ate timers. Only available reman and well over $100, good washer though, I should have built a new control system, but stuff was a lot more expensive in those days.

Oh well, why should I worry about arkanicides when I can party and swim my cares away? 🙂
