Random Observations

I was going to keep this one till last but I’m so excited about it, I can’t do it. I stumbled upon this today. It had a profound effect on me, possibly because of the situation we’re in right now. Whatever the reason, I wonder if you won’t get a little catch in your breath as you watch this. Amazing technology. When the long dead seemingly come to life.

As we desperately look forward to the year 2021 – well, I am, anyway – I thought it might be fun to take a look back a few years. Ok; 70 but so what? It’s hard not to laugh and maybe that’s why I’m sharing it; gosh, we could use a good laugh, couldn’t we? When I was 18 and graduated high school, of course, I thought I’d go into office work of some kind. In the 60s (don’t you do that math! our, for our cousins across the Pond, maths), women weren’t allowed to wear sleeveless blouses to work. Today women wear their clothes as tight as is humanly possible, sleeveless, low cut in front, 6″ high heels, and sparkle fingernail polish. Eye roll! I wonder what would happen if one of today’s business office candidates walked into the Personnel Department (isn’t that sweet? quaint? today you’re considered a ‘human resource’. Not all change is good) of 1950 dressed as 2020. Even the men would be scandalized. At first. (laughing) But enjoy this little walk down memory lane.

This was great fun; I guess you could call it variations on a theme. I don’t know any of the people, of course, but they look like a good bunch to hang out with.

NEO is fortunate enough to have an international readership and we never forget them. I decided, after watching this video, that I ought to be able to buy the same thing today. I want to buy the same thing today. I wonder if the United Kingdom is still in the cigarette business?

There’s a certain woman in America who feels that she has been victimized by the ‘system’; that she has no voice. Au contraire, mon ami. I’ll give ya some system – try this!

Finally, I’ll show you the pictures and you gents out there can tell us ladies about the ‘rules’ you were brought up with, in regard to appearance and clothing.

But let me run get popcorn and a beverage first – this should be entertaining!

My prayer for us is to go into the new year with laughter and hope.

Things are about to change very quickly. Stay on your toes and stay off of social media.

I only use Face Book and never post anything political there. My extended family (aunts, cousins, etc) are on FB and that’s how we stay up to date with each other.

You might have to revert to the old times use of letter writing unless you want to support those who are our archenemies and will use anything you say against you. Things are about to devolve rapidly. Watch yourself and to use the quote of this last year: keep safe. Switch to Parler and other forms of communication if you have to.

You put me in an uncomfortable situation; last year, at the start of the virus updates, I blew it off and wound up being alarmingly short of toilet paper. Which tells me I should heed your suggestion.

I just took down my options to share my post via any social media outlet. WordPress will not allow Parler at this point as an option. So screw them. I am contemplating selling all my stock in Apple and Facebook the next time a I call my broker which may be very soon.

I read that even conservative sites have been pointed out and commenters identified. All can be doxxed later/or sooner. Hopefully was a truely paranoid post.
Oh, and family support…Racisssit! /s But is advanced that way.
Maybe it because I use Chrome, ads I get always come on after I’ve searched for something, i.e. say boots or Depends. So ‘they’ know where I been, here. So better sign off. Too late.
Surprised no trolls here. NEO has secret blocker. Years ago there was one, a Dutch fellow.
        Yep, stay safe.

Really ain’t going. As to the first video (only one I watched so far, being despondent), for many of them Stephen K. Bannon could give them a run for the money, as far as looks go. 🙂

Sorry, Audre, but sometimes reality is more unbelievable than science fiction. We stand on the brink of Orwellianism. They are already working on an enemies list, taking down Fox News, they banned Trump forever at Twitter and are holding any followers and supporters as enemies of the state. Many are losing their jobs as we speak for simply attending the Trump rally in DC, a push for legal action against Trump is beginning and another round of persecution such as another Pelosi driven attempt to be either be impeached, removed via the 25th ammendment and forced to stay away from the swearing in of the new Imposter in Chief. It is only beginning and we will be next. They want to nullify Trump as the leader of the populist movement and those who were thought to be supporters of Trump in Congress are leaving him in droves; like rats from a sinking ship.

And not to miss the fact that there is a push to rid the airwaves of Fox News and they have always had their sights set squarely against Limbaugh and other Conservative talk radio outlets. Soon there will be nothing left. The new outlets like OAN and Newsmax aren’t monetized enough to survive an onslaught if it heads that direction; and in my opinion it will be.

They are following the playbook. Cut the head off of the snake. They are hoping that this will nullify the danger to the new regime when, in fact, it is going to make the situation even more dangerous than it is now.

And speaking of rats leaving the ship, my beloved SC (Red State) has watched some of my heroes such as Trey Gowdy , Mick Mulavey, Tim Scott and that pissant Lindsey Graham roll over and play dead. None of them get it. Gowdy recently said that the only recourse that we ever had was in the courts . . . though that was tried and the courts are corrupt and will not even take the cases presented to them. So what other options are left to the people when the FBI, DOJ, Congress and the incoming regime is Socialist, Communist or Marxist? Where do we go? Courts are no longer an option. We only have our voices and pitchforks left. Thank God for the 2nd amendment. Does Trey want us to fight the coming persecutions in federal courts? Use your head. It isn’t even an option which is left to law-abiding citizens anymore. That is a dead end.

What they don’t realize is that there will be no reprieve for them no matter what they do; it is only a delaying tactic. They will hang separately while we we hang together. The only difference is that we will die for principles and they will die without principle.

Sort of lost track where comments go. Think this is about being even concerned about relatives. Have at least one, can’t give the details or, you know, it’ll be tracked. And even this is likely tracked.
But so what, I got the shot and have the Gates chip now. 🙂
I haven’t given up, just still funning, but not dismissing anything mentioned here today or before.
Oh, no side effects yet (5 days), unless being PO’d about new impeachment counts.

Got my first flu one about 10 years ago. Was not exactly sick all winter, but felt puny couple of months. Skipped the next few/many several years and was fine. Then Oct. ’19 took one. Was sick as a dog, so to speak, first of March ’20 for a week. Could of been Covid maybe?
Anyway took another in Oct. ’20 and the Covid one in Jan., so far so good.
So what if the Gates chip tells him I’m at Gulf Coast Gun Barn. Molon Labe @ going on 79.
Still, I like being here a lot. 🙂

They never do. Little known fact, I do not possess a single pair of jeans or trousers. 😊 I won’t say “pants” as in the UK that amounts to panties, which would give the wrong impression 😱

I’m a child of my generation – jeans; been wearing them since I was probably 12 or 13. Not for school or church, of course, but free time. I have dress slacks but if I’m just going about the day, jeans. Shrug. What can I say??? Lol.
